Mayor McGinn bets on Seahawks victory

When the Seahawks take on the Saints in Saturday's NFL playoff game, more than pride is at stake:  Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn stands to gain some gumbo...or lose some salmon! McGinn and New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu have a friendly wager on the outcome.

If the Seahawks win, Landrieu will be sending some of his city's famous gumbo, CDs by Fats Domino and Irma Thomas, and a DVD of the Treme HBO series to Seattle. 

If the Saints win, McGinn will send a pound of smoked salmon, a dozen Top Pot maple bars, and some Jimmy Hendrix CDs to New Orleans.
