Secrets and lies in song

It’s getting harder to keep a secret these days--between your ATM card, Facebook and the NSA snooping on emails and phone calls, our lives are pretty much on record in some form.  Of course people will continue to lie and try to keep secrets, but even the Secret Service couldn’t keep their Columbian Expedition under cover...

This song seems just right for the occasion, it’s Johnny Rivers from 1966:

The most iconic song about secrets is probably The Beatles’ “Do You Want To Know a Secret?”. It’s not a secret that the late 60’s Beatles Cartoon Series was really bad, but it did feature the voice of Paul Frees, who also played Boris Badenov on The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show !
